ROBERT EDWARD CURRY

Mr. Robert Edward ‘Edd’ Curry, age 59, of Vernon, Florida passed away January 26, 2026, at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, Florida.  He was born September 12, 1966, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late J.B. Curry and Bertie Beatrice Thames Curry.  In addition to his parents, Edd was preceded in death by three brothers, James Curry, Ernie Curry, and Gary Curry.

Mr. Curry is survived by one son, Jamie Curry of Westville, FL; one daughter, Amber Curry of Westville, FL; two granddaughters, Freya and Kynlie; ten siblings, J.B. Curry Jr. of Bonifay, FL, Nancy Hayes of Newport News, VA, Jimmie Curry of Ponce de Leon, FL, Debra Zepp and husband, Steven of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Diane Padgett of Ponce de Leon, FL, Marsha Holloway of Westville, FL, Patricia Hudson of Bonifay, FL, Jacqueline Adkins and husband Greg of Chipley, FL, David Curry of Westville, FL, and Carol Curry and Billy McKnight of Vernon, FL; mother of his children, Patricia Curry of Westville, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Curry Family Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel.
