Mr. Roy Lamar Daniel, age 75, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away September 29, 2021, at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, Florida. He was born September 22, 1946, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late George LeRoy Daniel and Ella Mae Daniel. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by two brothers, C.W. Daniel and Larry Daniel.
Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 42 years, Anita Daniel of Ponce de Leon, FL; two sons, Robert Daniel and wife Linda of DeFuniak Springs, FL and David Churchwell and wife Jennifer of Ponce de Leon, FL; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Daniel; one sister, Wanda Thomas; one sister-in-law, Juanita Daniel; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry McGowan officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 PM at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
