Our beloved Viola G. Kistner entered into God’s kingdom on February 11, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born August 26, 1930, to Jay and Gracie Greene in Peach Creek, Logan County, West Virginia.

On May 1, 1949, she married Walter Scott Kistner, a match truly made in heaven. They were blessed with five children: Scotty, Margaret, Del, Angie and Sam.

Viola was an ordained minister, a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with all who surrounded her. A favorite saying “God knows what we need.”

Viola was rarely seen without her camera. She loved taking photos and treasured the captured memories of those she loved.

Viola joins Walter, Scotty, Del and Angie in Heaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Rivenbark and her husband, Larry; son, Sam Kistner and his wife, Debbie; daughter-in-law, Pat Kistner; grandchildren, Terry Kern and his wife, Brandy; John Kistner; Justin Kistner and his wife, Amber; Aaron Kistner; Alicia Lock and her husband, Tony; Jennifer Keeton; Connor Campbell and his wife, Crystal; 13 great-grandchildren; Julia, Anthony, Rodney, Meghan, Cody, Dalton, Marshall, Rebecca, Shawn, Brayden, Brilynn, Briar, and Jackson.
