Mr. William Avin Champion, age 78, of Bonifay, Florida passed away February 12, 2023, at his home. He was born March 1, 1944, in Hartford, Alabama. Mr. Champion was preceded in death by his father, Birdie Emerson Champion, his mother, Ruth Spann, one brother, Andy, and one sister, Alice.
Mr. Champion is survived by his wife, Kellie Champion of Bonifay, FL; two sons, Matthew Clemons and Michelle Calhoun and William Champion and Natasha Sanders both of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Veronica Champion and Robert Wilhite, Jr. of Bonifay, FL; seven grandchildren, William Champion, Madison Champion, Jacob Wilhite, Colton Wilhite, Mariska Calhoun, Voncile Calhoun, and Kristina Meredith; two nieces, Veronica and Katie.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
