Mr. William ‘Will’ Avin Champion II, age 33, of Slocomb, Alabama passed away May 4, 2024. He was born December 14, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida. Will was preceded in death by his father, William Avin Champion Sr.
Will is survived by his mother, Kellie Clemons of Bonifay, FL; fiancée, Natasha Sanders of Slocomb, AL; five children, William B. Champion of Bonifay, FL, Madison Champion of Slocomb, AL, Kristina Merideth of Slocomb, AL, Dillon Sanders and Hunter of Slocomb, AL, Joshua Sanders and Bralynn Westmoreland of Slocomb, AL; one brother, Matthew Clemons and Michelle of Bonifay, FL; one sister, Veronica Champion and Robert Wilhite Jr. of Bonifay, FL; nieces and nephews, Tilman Calhoun, Marishka Calhoun, Voncile Calhoun, Jacob Wilhite and Colton Wilhite; two cousins, Katie and Veronica; two grandchildren, Addison Sanders and Nova Sanders; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
