Mr. William ‘Bill’ Thomas Raines, age 76, formerly of Greenhead, Florida passed away August 10, 2021, at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis, Alabama. He was born July 14, 1945, in Vernon, Florida to the late Andrew Wallace Raines and Ruth Carrie Howell Raines. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Saxton C. Raines.
Bill is survived by one son, Timothy Edward Raines of Mulberry, FL, one brother, Wallace Raines of Demopolis, AL, one sister, Faye McCravy of Orange Beach, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2021, in the Vernon City Cemetery.
