Mr. Willie D. Callahan, age 76, of Ponce de Leon, Florida passed away August 26, 2022, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida. He was born July 11, 1946, in Holmes County Florida to the late John Callahan and Peggy Goddin Callahan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Callahan was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Sunday Townsend Callahan, one brother, Jim Callahan, and a grandchild, Ethan Callahan.
Three sons, Chris Callahan and wife Rose of Ponce de Leon, FL, Landon Callahan and wife Elvie of Ponce de Leon, FL and Randy Callahan of Ponce de Leon, FL; one daughter, Kimm Callahan Bishop and husband Tracy of Westville, FL; seven grandchildren, Matthew Callahan, Dalton Callahan & Dakota, Austin Callahan & Bree, Taylor Callahan Roberts and Billy, Makenzie Callahan, Brett Bishop, and Brock Bishop; two great-grandchildren, Weston Bishop and Luella Bishop; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2022, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Old Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday at Peel Funeral Home.
