Mr. Willie Mack Mitchell, age 79, a lifelong resident of Caryville, Florida passed away February 16, 2021 in Bristol, Florida. He was born February 4, 1942 in Caryville, Florida to the late Fred Mitchell and Dorothy Estelle Sellers Mitchell. In addition to his parents, Willie Mack was preceded in death by one brother, James Mitchell and one daughter, Michelle Connell Pearson.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by five children, Billy Joe Mitchell of Caryville, FL, Darla Sue Mitchell Woods of Kodak, TN, William Gerald Mitchell of Gritney, FL, Violet Marie Mitchell of Caryville, FL, and Edward Connell of Caryville, FL; eight grandchildren, Steven Mitchell, Timothy Taylor, Carley Taylor, Drewcilla Mitchell, Cheyenne Mitchell, Brady Connell, Daelin Connell, and Reane Pearson; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dewey Mitchell of Cordele, GA and Billy Joe Mitchell of Graceville, FL; one sister, Shirley Faye Ellis of Marianna, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021, at The Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ Caryville, 4468 Lake Circle Drive, Caryville, Florida, with Rev. Edward Williams officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
