Mrs. Cheryl Yvonne Sober, age 62, of Chipley, Florida passed away October 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born June 16, 1959, in Bonifay, Florida. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Muriel Turbeville, one sister, Patricia Thomas, and two daughters, Tammy Oldham and Tracy Oldham.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Dan Sober of Chipley, FL; three children, Shonda Moore of Chipley, FL, Joshua Oldham of Algeria, and Jonathan Sober of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Hannah Duke, Daniel Johnston, Cody Moore, Daniel Moore, Grace Armstrong, and Lily Oldham; one great-grandchild, Easton Duke; three siblings, Jerry Reynolds and wife Teresa of New Hope, FL, Eva Couch and husband Terry of Bonifay, FL, and Frank Turbeville and wife Melissa of Bonifay, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Bush officiating. Interment will follow in the Bonifay Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Peel Funeral Home.
